New Epic Universe Hotels to Open in 2025

Universal Orlando is set to open three new hotels near Epic Universe in 2025. This brings Universal Orlando’s total hotels up to eleven spanning from value resorts to signature collection luxury hotel stays. Stella Nova and Terra Luna are sister resorts set to open on January 21 and March 25, 2025, respectively. Helios Grand Hotel will open with the park on May 22, 2025. This article is your complete guide on everything you need to know about all three Epic Universe Hotels 2025.

Stella Nova Resort - Opening January 21, 2025

The first Epic Universe hotel to open at Universal’s Epic Universe will be Stella Nova, a sleek, space-themed resort that’s sure to transport guests into a whole new galaxy of excitement. “Stella Nova” is Latin phrase that means “new star.” Alongside it, Terra Luna will be its sister resort, offering a very similar experience—much like Universal's Endless Summer Surfside and Dockside. Both hotels share a futuristic, celestial vibe, but with their own unique names and touches.

  • Category: Prime Value.

  • Price Range: Rates begin at $189 per night.

  • Number of Rooms: 750 standard double queen rooms (315-square-foot).

Stella Nova Amenities

Stella Nova will be home to 10,000 square-foot pool, an interactive splash pad, a hot tub, outdoor games, a fire pit, lounge seating in (or out of) sand, and more.

The family fun continues with a game room in the hotel. A complimentary fitness center with cardio exercise equipment including treadmills, exercise bikes, elliptical machines, and weight training machines along with locker rooms and showers will be available for guests to use.

Is it really a Universal hotel without a gift shop? Guests can shop for Universal Orlando souvenirs from their favorite movies and rides right in Stella Nova Hotel.

Stella Nova Dining

Stella Nova Resort will be home to a few different dining options. Its variety reminds us of Aventura’s dining (another Universal prime value resort). Below is a quick overview of the dining options you can enjoy during your stay.

  • Cosmos Cafe and Market - breakfast, lunch, and dinner quick-service restaurant offering American classics like burgers, paninis, fried chicken, and pasta.

  • Galaxy Bar and Galaxy Grill - poolside favorites featuring a full-service bar, beer, wine, and a separate grill with a menu that includes burgers, quesadillas, and salads.

  • Nova Bar - lobby bar with craft cocktails.

  • Pizza Delivery - get hot pizza delivered right to your room.

Terra Luna Resort - Opening March 25, 2025

As the sister resort to Stella Nova, Terra Luna Hotel offers a similarly spectacular experience, with both resorts located side by side at Universal Orlando Resort. “Terra Luna” is a Latin phrase for “earth moon.” While each resort will have its own unique charm, they will share a common goal of delivering unforgettable experiences for guests.

  • Category: Prime Value

  • Price Range: Rates begin at $189 per night.

  • Number of Rooms: 750 standard double queen rooms.

  • Transportation: Shuttle Bus or Walking Path to Epic Universe

  • Parking Cost: $23 per night

  • Address: 5500 Epic Blvd. Orlando, Florida 32819

Terra Luna Resort Amenities

Terra Luna will be home to a 10,000 square-foot pool, an interactive splash pad, a hot tub, outdoor games, a fire pit, lounge seating in (or out of) sand, and more.

The family fun continues with a game room in the hotel. A complimentary fitness center with cardio exercise equipment including treadmills, exercise bikes, elliptical machines, and weight training machines along with locker rooms and showers will be available for guests to use.

Guests can shop for Universal Orlando souvenirs from their favorite movies and rides right in the all-new Terra Luna Hotel.

Terra Luna Dining

The dining options at Terra Luna are quite similar to those at Stella Nova, with both resorts offering a range of familiar concepts, just under different names. Guests can expect a variety of casual dining choices.

  • Omega Cafe and Market - breakfast, lunch, and dinner quick-service restaurant offering American classics like burgers, paninis, fried chicken, and pasta.

  • Moonrise Bar and Moonrise Grill - poolside favorites featuring a full-service bar, beer, wine, and a separate grill with a menu that includes burgers, quesadillas, and salads.

  • Luna Bar - lobby bar with craft cocktails.

  • Pizza Delivery - get hot pizza delivered right to your room.

Helios Grand Hotel - Opening May 22, 2025

One of the most anticipated new resorts in Orlando is Helios Grand Hotel. Why? Well, this resort will be located INSIDE of Epic Universe. This resort will have an exclusive Epic Universe park entrance. Helios Grand Hotel has a Mediterranean-inspired feel throughout and a rooftop bar with 360-degree views of Epic Universe. This will be a signature collection hotel however it will NOT include the Universal Express Pass at this time.

  • Category: Signature Collection

  • Price Range: Rates begin at $293 per night.

  • Number of Rooms: 500 rooms including standard, club level rooms and suites

  • Transportation: Shuttle Bus or Walking Path to Epic Universe

  • Parking Cost: $33 per night / $42 per night for valet

  • Address: 8505 S. Kirkman Road Orlando, FL 32819

It’s important to note here, especially when comparing to the other new Universal hotels 2025 that this is the only hotel within walking distance to Epic Universe that offers suites. These kids’ suites are especially special because they are themed to How to Train Your Dragon!

Helios Grand Hotel Amenities

Get ready to be swept away by the relaxing zero-entry pool with a hot tub at Universal Helios Grand Hotel. Guests will be able to enjoy poolside cabanas for rent, underwater speakers, poolside movies, and more at this impressive pool.

Similar to other Universal Orlando Resorts, this new Universal hotel will have a game room, a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, and an official Universal Studios Store.

Helios Grand Hotel Dining

  • Flora Taverna - Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Flora Taverna offers a full breakfast buffet and Mediterranean comfort foods. This restaurant will offer outdoor and indoor dining.

  • Bar Helios - enjoy cocktails, comfort food, and creative tapas above Epic Universe. This rooftop bar will have 360-degree views of the park.

  • Lotus Lagoon - snacks, appetizers, frozen cocktails, and more are offered at this open-air poolside restaurant.

  • Aurora Market - grab & go area featuring a coffee bar and food and drinks like paninis, wraps, and gelato.

Universal Orlando Resort Benefits

All three new Epic Universe Hotels will have the following benefits that guests can enjoy. I always suggest staying on Universal property and these reasons are just icing on the cake. Not only do you get the convenience of being close to the parks, but you also enjoy exclusive perks that enhance your experience.

  • Early Park Admission - Enter a select Universal theme park one hour early.

  • Free transportation - complimentary shuttle busses to CityWalk (Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida). The three new hotels will also have an exclusive walking path to Epic Universe.

  • Resort-Wide Charging Privileges - your hotel key card allows you to charge your purchases everywhere at Universal Orlando Resort.

  • Merchandise Delivery - When shopping at select stores in Universal theme parks and CityWalk, you can get your purchases delivered to your hotel free of charge.

These new hotels in Orlando will be game changers for your Universal Orlando vacation. It’s important to keep in mind that they are all located next to Epic Universe. This means you will be a bus ride away from Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk.

Stay tuned to The Krystal Palace YouTube as I will have multiple videos out from the new hotels Orlando FL when they open.
